Dr. Goldey is the only doctor in Lake, Sumter and Marion Counties whose practice has been designated a National Training Center by BOTOX manufacturer Allergan, allowing her to teach BOTOX techniques to other physicians.
She’s been using BOTOX since the early 90’s for contractions and spasms of the eyelid muscles, so it was a natural evolution to use it cosmetically. Since that time, she has been on the forefront of new cosmetic technology.BOTOX is an FDA-approved natural, purified protein that is injected directly into the muscle. The muscle is then relaxed which causes a smoothing of lines and wrinkles on the face. The benefits of BOTOX® are visible after a few days and peak at approximately 3 – 4 weeks. The cost of these treatments is substantially less than surgery, however, the treatments are not permanent and may need to be repeated after 3 – 6 months.
Dysport is also a natural protein and FDA approved, and is used for the treatment of frown lines. Tiny amounts of Dysport are injected directly into the facial muscles underlying the frown lines. Over the next few days, the muscles gradually relax, and you will enjoy a more youthful appearance while maintaining a natural expression.
Hyaluronic Acid Gel (such as Juvéderm or Restylane™), smoothes out wrinkles and facial folds, creating instant, smooth, natural results. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide and an important structural element in the skin. The substance is injected directly into folds in the skin to add volume to tissue, thereby shaping the contours of the face. Results are visible immediately and last approximately six months to one year after the first injection.

Hair Reduction- Intense pulsed light (IPL) hair removal offers a fast, comfortable and permanent alternative to shaving, tweezing, waxing, depilatories and electrolysis. Pulses of concentrated light are directed onto the skin and absorbed by pigment in the hair follicles.
Dr. Goldey uses a state-of-the-art IPL system which can treat underarms or bikini lines in minutes, upper lips in under a minute, and a man's back in under an hour. In addition, since the pulses of light penetrate the skin, you don’t need to let the hair grow out before treatment. The number of treatments required depends on the person, the body part being treated, and how much of the hair is in the active phase of growth.
